I made a quick video yesterday. I’ll try to upload it here.
My bench setup :
- supergun smallcab
- A board Jap
- B board suicided (no battery) Rev 4B
- SDHC PNY 4gb / SDHC 16GB sandisk
- rom pack : Old and « new »
- 4 wires from multi Dark board to CN pins

I tried with a SDXC and I get an error message « no sd card detected »

@neopsycho as the instructions say, it will only work with SDHC cards, not with SDXC.
I know I just tried multiple card lol
Is this a newer kit or the old kit that required soldering?
I suppose it is a recent kit. I bought it in June with « save your games ».
But it is not the last edition
on the Multi PCB there is:
- pads for Key Writing : i perform solder with a 0,2mm tip and flux
- J17 pin
I don’t know if it’s a problem but :
- key writing cable is about 30cm
- there is a resistor bridge on CN connector (I don’t take it of)
other information :
- i use à PAL G from save your games with PIN9 bent
- i take of factory strap on the back of B board (from PIN9 of PalG to CN connector)
- i perform capacitor discharge for the 1 and 5 (with a screwdriver during 1 minute)
I’ll do it when I’ll be at home.
Pads are not « burnt » or else.
My suspicion is you have a micro short on one of the ARM pins or one of the small caps near the pads.
I’ll post it as soon as i’m at home.
