What's new
Hey guys, I did a fresh install to see if that fixed anything and now no matter what I do I can’t get update all sh to download the good stuff(roms). So I am having some trouble showing you guys what I’m seeing here on the NAC. Anyone now the fix for this?

The roms arent downloading because there was a change in the source file site. Its being worked on.
Thank you so much for the update! I thought I was going crazy and messed something up lol just like I thought I had messed something up with this weird color issue we’re having.
I’m in the same boat as you, I hold no ill will.
Not an angry customer here. I very much appreciate that something like this even exists. I really hope we can get this all sorted out. I’m down to help if anyone needs some testing on different candy cabs.

The video levels on MiSTercade V2 are the same as MiSTercade V1, so I'm not sure what the issue could be with your monitor.
Adjusting the RGB pots didn't help at all?
Which cabinet is this for?
Good afternoon, I am very clumsy. I am unable to configure mistercade V2 to work on my Egret 2.

I had two mistercade V1s in vertical position that worked perfectly (with the old installation).

Now it is impossible for me.

Could any good Samaritan help me?

Thank you very much in advance.

I just got my Mistercade v2 and am having this same problem on both my Astro City cabs. Both are MS9s, I've played with all the RGB/brightness pots on both the Mistercade and the monitor remote board, but it hasn't made the issue better. I have lots of arcade boards and none of them have this issue. Hoping there's something that will fix it.

I tested on my MS8-29 and MS9-29 Astro City cabinets tonight and couldn't reproduce the video noise/ringing. Since the issue doesn't seem to affect all cabinets the same, I'd like to try and narrow down the variables.

I have a hunch that it's somehow related to ground. Both cabinets that I tested on tonight have a 3 prong, dedicated ground, cord instead of the stock 2 prong ground-less power cord.

1) Do you have a 2 or 3 prong power cord?

2) I left a 0 ohm resistor between the HDMI shield and ground in the final design. Will someone experiencing the issue try desoldering this? If no one feels comfortable doing so, I can send out a test board to someone in the US. I'd prefer not to experiment with international shipping in the mix, haha.

Let me know!

My cabs are 2 prong.
Removed the resistor and everything looks the same unfortunately.

I'll remove and test today. I brought my electronics lab with me to work for this moment lol

I can confirm that I have tried on blast cities with 3 prong plugs the issue remains.

Also adjusting the rgb pots has no effect on the vga out, thats supposed to be that way right?

My 2 Astro Cities have been rewired for 3 prong. They each have different models of Sega Power Supplies as well, I forget the models but can share that if it would be helpful

Hello I just want to give you all the voltage reading I'm getting from the jamma edge and see if this is normal for mistercade V2's not having the issue or having the color issue.
Test was conducted with black lead on video ground pin 14 jamma at the mistercade boot screen/ no channel background
Pin 12 Video Red= 0.62V to 0.66V fluctuating
Pin 13 Video Blue= 0.74V to 0.78V fluctuating
Pin N Video Green= 0.70V to 0.74V fluctuating
I hope this helps.
If anyone can confirm these voltages are correct for a 15k jamma setup it would help greatly.
Thank you
