What's new
I guess there's more than 1 kind of NBBB because that one doesn't look like mine. Here's some pics in case it's helpful.

Interesting. I figured with the NBBB sticker on it that it was original. Or maybe the half with the sticker on it is original? Strange.

Or maybe the sticker is just fake lol. Does anybody happen to recognize what game it originally is then?

Many Korean arcade gamers call it 'Lisensed pcb'.

Because it has genuine mask roms and sound custom and sticker as you said.
Pcb printed in Korea, but most of important parts (mask rom, custom ICs) are genuine. So I call it lisensed pcb or half genuine. not conversion.

Maybe your sound custom number is one of 24, 25, 26.

There are 3 types of NBBB pcbs in Korea using 24, 25, 26 customs.

Main program roms are same with 24 custom, but sound program roms(SH0, SL0) are different. So I think there are 3 types of SH0, SL0 program datas, matching 24, 25, 26 sound customs.

That's very interesting, but also of concern to me now. Does this mean my NBBB won't work with the multi?

I think it would work with m92 multi perfectly.

I tried to match many Korean Lisensed mainboards and genuine rom boards, and they worked perfectly. So I think it would work with M92 multi.

But you'd better check mainboard 2C or 2D socket number IC203.

Some Korean Lisensed main board has incorrect IC here. Some sounds are missing with incorrect IC IC203.

Then, change it with correct IC.
You can hear correct sound with 'JRC 3403' IC203.

This is very valuable information that I think can help other people as well. Thank you very much.

I think I am lucky because it looks like I have the correct IC.

Thank you for your help!

Good info. Thanks!

Rules dictated that PCBs had to be produced in Korea with components from Japan. These conversions do not have a proper JAMMA edge and are of lower quality. PCB quality is lower, no heatsink on amplifier, removal of decoupling capacitors to name a few.

Compare the picture above with this:

I have 3 NBBM PCBs, but here are pics of the confirmed real US version.

Thanks for pictures. I think that Apocalypse is looking specifically for ROM PCB version M92-B-G. Somebody has that one?

I have some genuine M92-B-G rom boards.

In Korea, some NBBB pcbs were distributed with M92-B-G rom board.

Maybe M92-B-G rom board is made for GeoStorm(Gunforce II).

1990s, NBBB was very popular in Korea. but GeoStorm was not popular.

So many NBBB pcbs were distributed with M92-B-G rom boards.

Anyway, I can send it to him too.

I meaned about bonus game on M72 like R-Type II (World version, converted from M84), Lightning Swords (known in Japan as Kengo, converted from encrypted V35 M84) or Pound For Pound. Any chances for in same card R-type trilogy (1,2 and Leo)?
