What's new
Looks like the http://ikotsu.blogspot.com/2015/01/taito-g-net-mod-bios.html site's downloads are no longer working. Anyone know of another source?

why bother with sites with questionable legality when archive.org legally hosts the MAME ROMsets?

^get the CHDs there then use my program for extraction:

the program that everyone used to use seems to throw up all kinds of red flags with anti-virus software, it's really not doing anything special though, so why use it?

I got it now. Sorry for being a goober and not reading more. Thank you both.

No issues writing, but still getting system error on boot, so I take it I got some quality fakes. Anyone have a recommendation for finding working cards?

I used the program included in skate's post above. No issues writing. Cards are Sandisk 128. Close comparison with a working one makes me think they are counterfeits.

Counterfeit font - look closely at the S. Also, fake cards are slightly thinner, they pop in and out much more easily from the reader/drive.

4 cards is about all you need at the end of the day. Only games worth playing imo are XII Stag, G-Darius, Super Puzzle Bobble and the Sonic Wings conversion.

People mentioned that had good luck with the Transcend cards? Any particular type/size to look out for? I think the consensus is anything 1GB or lower.

Well, now i have the bios running how i would like, lovely and decrypted... flasher program and both V1 and V2.

Still waiting for the ZN1 key , still need to figure the "lockout"
But.... if i can't figure it out the lockout, we can do all the ZN1 games on ZN1 (with bios board and a decrypted version of @twistedsymphony 's mawasunda bios) + GNET top board by simply flashing the bios via the EPROM socket same as usual.
