What's new
I am pretty sure you don’t need to download and add drivers manually… there are a stack of available drivers on the image itself… do you know if it is playing blind or not making it that far…?
Which folder holds the drivers? Do you know? Thank you.

Any beeps?
Yes it beeps. I was actually able to delete the drivers like in the video and I was able to boot it again. However when I did a clean i stall of the drivers it broke again. So I re did the whole deleting of drivers and it works again but I don’t know if the Gpu is recognized

I found that whenever I have switched graphics cards, the first boot is off in terms of resolution etc, but this works itself out after a restart.
Try something like the SFIV Test as I am pretty sure it gives some info on the installed graphics card there.
That or there is a nVidia control panel app somewhere on the menu you can access and check.

Here’s a super newbie question. The multi artax 4.1 is a 1gb image. My ssd is a 2tb, when I flash the image I loose 1tb. How do you keep that remaining 1tb to add other games if you’d like, example is the community 1.4 patch, or add steam games to it? Not that I know how to do them but I’d like to after I do a little research. Thanks in advance.

partition the remaining 1tb and either merge or use as separate partition. may require some disc tools or playing with the drive format

@Luvtorev A tool like Partition Magic will show you the disk size and the partition size. You can then resize the partition to fill the disk as per @illicitpearl comment.

Is a MSI FTX 960 good enough to run VF E sports & small enough to fir in the case.

Single or twin fan?

Will a GTX 1070 fit in the TX3 case or can you recommend one ?

In all honesty I'm more of a super casual VF player so just prefer to play Dead or Alive 5 with Sarah, DOA6 needs a better gfx card too but doesn't have the VF players.

For me VF3/TB looks really good to me there is something very bold about the visuals that stand out better than the sequels I could watch the intro all day.

I took the 1070 from my ALLS and put it in my X3 case and it fits fine. I remove the original case fan and put a slim fan though.

I'm getting a low spec TTX3 model (the 405 with latest Atrax); I'd like to upgrade it with a 1070. Other than BIOS flashing, do I need to update video drivers and\or Windows?

The Atrax image contains different drivers that should cover you. Just install the new card, and boot up. Leave it for a short while. Everything will be wrong resolution wise etc. After a reboot or two it should sort itself out.

I’m selling mine but locally, are you in Connecticut by chance? I don’t want the hassle of shipping that’s why. Mine is a 407 with the I5 2600, 16gb memory and a 1660 Super in it with the game that it came with school of ragnarok. You can always get a 1tb ssd and flash artax image to it. The bios is already flashed to take any graphics card you want. Asking $500 cause that’s what I just paid for it plus added the 1660. I can take pictures later if you want. Thank you.

I know I’m late to the party but hoping that it’s feasible to get SF6 running at 1080p or even 1440p. Has anyone tried any of the extreme edition sandy bridge chips (e.g. 3980X)?

What GPU would give the best chance and still fit in the case? Thanks!
I’m getting the i7 2600 on mine this week with 1660 super with 16gb ram and I’ll test it for you. However I currently have the i5 with all the same setup and it runs in 1080p well.

So I was changing the cpu from the i5 to the i7 I accidentally dropped the cpu into the socket area and bent a few of the prongs. Is this fixable or do I need to replace the motherboard? The computer now turns on but red light in back stays on and there is no splash screens, just stays black.

I've re-bent pins before. There is the risk of snapping them, but you might as well try, since there's nothing to lose.

That’s the only option right, or else I will need a new motherboard correct? Where can I find those?

If you are running the Atrax image than any i7 capable motherboard will be fine… probably better.

For an exact replacement then yahoo Japan and some difficulty…

How do you run the image on a regular pc? I have tried to run it on my laptop and it didn’t work. I am getting a pc but how do you boot into it on a regular pc or laptop? Thank you.
