WTB Toaplan “d70016u” gxc-04 custom chip

Looking for this chip for my zero wing. When the pcb is powered up, this chip literally can burn you

IF you don't find any seller for this chip. Check with @caius about his Toaplan 'GXC-0x replacement. I think that one will work with Zero Wing too.

I power up the pcb and get this screen while that chip is burning like hell. It’s the security chip/ mask rom yeah? I read it on one of your repairs

The GXC-04 is a TMS320C010 DSP co-processor in disguise with internal MASK ROM, it's used as protection.
Anyway, I just checked, Zero Wing PCB does not carry the 'GXC-04', maybe your are confusing it with the 'FDA' chip.Please, check better your board.

This was sold to me as a zero wing, I should have checked the roms right away since now I can do that ; it comes up as demons world

Yes, this was my assumption since Demon's World do use the 'GXC-04' MCU.
