Any idea why it would not boot? Changed out power, dvd rom, checked i/o...out of options at this point. There's power to the DVD. Because if I unplug the ide cable. I can eject disc. Is the motherboard toast? Thanks
Is that monitor having some sort of magnifying glass?this is how long it takes for mine
My guess is that its an LCD -
It won't spin up when the ide is attached. Tekken 5 dongle. So not even getting to the first step. I'll get a video shortly
1.Obviously your machine is a 246, not a 256 system, so you can't run Tekken 5. Soul Calibur II/III are both 246 systems, because the 246 system label is affixed vertically, and the power board is exposed, while the 256 label is affixed horizontally. It's this exact issue. Same thing in this vid. I'll make my own after work sometime.

I apologize for not giving the proper context. It was indeed running great (tekken 5.0) then out of nowhere just stopped. Tried every option so far except swapping a motherboard. You bring up a good point though. I am hearing no post beeps.1.Obviously your machine is a 246, not a 256 system, so you can't run Tekken 5. 2. The first thing to do when starting up the 246 and 256 systems is to verify and read the dongle. You will hear about 7 consecutive beeps. Please make sure your machine can complete the first step. Whether the machine can run normally is not determined by whether the optical drive is rotating. If the dongle card needs to be cleaned, please wipe the metal slot with an eraser.
3. Tekken 5 is divided into 3 versions: Tekken 5.0, Tekken 5.1, and Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection. Which version are you running?
