Hi guys , I just “won” a Brave Blade on Yahoo auctions.
But it is only the romkit. I assume I can use any ZN-1 board if it is capcom taito or temco. So little info out there on these boards.

Normally you need a Taito bios on the motherboard for this game.

Brave blade uses the tecmo bios, not the raizing bios (although it's on the raizing top board)

You cannot use taito or capcom board unless you hack around with the bios board.

How do you differentiate between board on pictures they all look pretty similar

Gallop Racer 2/3 or Coolboarders would be the cheapest donors for a Tecmo Bios mobo. I am not sure about the ram configuration though. @Hammy, is the ram only an issue on the ZN boards or also on the TPS?

Brave blade is 1x Vram , so no problem on any board

Then it will be an MGxx keychip on the romboard.
MG xx = tecmo. .... CP xx = capcom, TT xx = taito etc.

Bust a groove 1 = ET04
