May as well give this a shot. I don't see myself playing anything HD or modern on a CRT any longer (long live OLED), so this is basically an expensive 80lb anchor for me.
I recapped the entire monitor a few years ago, touched up some cold solder joints, replaced a resistor or two, and it's running like a champ. I have both a Sony silver bezel and the (in my opinion) better looking SGI blue one that matches the rest of the monitor plastic. Also have an entire spare shell. I ALSO have an ADDITIONAL full suite of tested working PCB's (A, D, N, S, J, G, H, US, and I/O), spare USB hub base, and spare yoke so you can keep this thing running till the end of time, or at least until you pass away, or neck the tube or something.
If the buyer wants, I will install the "Over brightness fix" mod, but you're on your own finding a PC old enough to run WinDAS and adjust the brightness up afterwards with the serial adapter. I just don't keep that old of hardware around any more. For a PC monitor I don't think it's too bright, but if strictly gaming, I can understand the criticism.
Case has a few minor scrapes/etc, but no gouges or anything, and no cracks. Anti-glare coating is fully intact, not a mark on the screen.
I am interested in picking up a Sharp or Sampo Famicom TV of either size and any color. Working or not. Prefer Sampo, red, and 14", but not choosy.
Divers 2000 (nice condition and working w/matching accessories, no box/paperwork needed) plus cash.
Also interested in picking up a BVM D24 or A24 (now that the reproduction RGB card exists). Regret selling mine way back.
Small chance if local I'd consider a really nice D20 w/BKM. Not willing to drive/ship over a 20 though.
Happy to drive to meet within 500 miles or so of 92504 to exchange. Also willing to ship so long as it's (as extreme as it sounds) something like Beltmann. White glove, blanket wrap, insured freight. I don't have the ability to crate it, and UPS/FedEx deny CRT insurance claims anyway, so I won't use them.
