It seems complete with box to me. How should this 4 player kit be more complete?

The person who sold it to me had hesitated to tell me that it was very rare that it was a prototype (he finally sold me all his pcb stock including this kit)

What snk made in a small series

Seems to me more reasonable

I saw one once in kit like the one for sale on yahoo

And a 10 times just the link pcb with wiring and slot for sale on yahoo

With the new update to block panic dx (https://www.retrorgb.com/quadruple-...lock-panic-dx-for-the-neo-geo-aes-mvs-cd.html) I imagine there may be a renewed interest in this. I have a flash cart and an mvs1c if you still need anyone to test things for you.

The problem is time and space at the moment. You do have to use a compatible BIOS for the game to detect the adapter: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blo...e4b0dad29f41/src/mame/neogeo/neogeo.cpp#L7287

I am using unibios with neo SD on mv1c.

No idea - it seems to be less of a region issue, and more that only some motherboards supported it. I'll have to re-check unibios, but I only got the adapter detected when I used the correct bios.

The hardware for that should exist on all MVS, but the outputs are not always connected.
