Hello!
A bit of a weird question but I have a somewhat of a frankenstein Naomi Universal cab that I need help with figuring out how to connect ground GND/earth or not.
So, the Naomi Universal cab I have is just a monitor bolted onto the frame. The monitor is a 39" A90LSW095X flat tube with a Rodotron 666 chassie. Currently I'm not getting a picture so it might just be the chassie (will troubleshoot that later).
But, can anyone confirm if the metal frame of the Naomi Universal is connected to the GND of the chassie going to the monitor originally? There's a FG (frame/field ground?) point on the chassie and when connected, I have GND and the Earth (the metal frame) connected together. Feels wrong, never encountered this before. The cab has a isolations transformer.
Should it be like this?
Thanks!
