Hi guys, I want to share with you my experience with this monitor.
I would like to point out that I have absolutely no experience with electronics and all the repairs carried out were done by reading on this forum.
This chassis come from yaton, it had vertical foldover that was fixed with a capkit.
After a few months the monitor start to show a "snow effect" and took a few minutes to focus.
Fixed with replacement of crt socket.
I loosened and recalibrated the yoke and added some strips and grid test was really nice!
7 days ago the monitor lost horizontal frequency.
horizontal hold
After several tests I replaced the 3 transistors on IC 103.
here's some pictures.
Now i have new iussue with b+
b+ unstable
I have a spare chassis that works perfectly and have tried to check/replace and reflow the following components with no luck.
C901
L901
BD901
nth901
c905
q901
q902
q903
q904
R910
Maybe I'm loocking in the wrong place and the problem is in another circuit...
any advice is truly appreciated.
Thanks for your help!
