What's new

Name that connector: the thread

That does not look like JST VH.

It's a connector for a motherboard fan? A cabinet schematic won't show connections inside a motherboard.

It looks more like the XA series. Check XAP-02V-1.
The manual I think is for a Noir with the Tekken 6 pcb installed? The manual definitely shows the system 357. I ordered some JST VH, only cost $10 so I guess I'll try those first. If those don't work I'll look at the XAP-02V-1. Here are some more pics of the connector.

Ordered the ZAP-02V-1 and the pins. Hopefully practice makes perfect. I just wish the noctua wire gauge wasn't so tiny. I'll let you know how it goes!

I've discussed this one with @xodaraP this morning and ended up on a Molex type 3191 series connector, but the Molex MLX certainly looks to be similar... I will take a decent pic tonight and compare.

Looking for some assistance please with these ones from a Korean DDR cabinet, it didn't come with the cable that connects the cabinet to the dance pads, so I need to build one myself, since also from both sides the connectors are the same gender, but couldn't find what they are.
Japanese DDR uses JST YLP-12V, YLR-12V, VLP-06V, VLR-06V, but this cabinet clearly uses something different. It can't be seen in the photo but they all have male pins. Thanks!

Found them, after some intense reverse image search, they're ELR-12V and ELP-12R
And found a better picture https://www.jessewolcott.com/korean-ddr-pad-connector/
Unfortunately they're very hard to get unless purchased by a large amount.

Just saw the post, and was going to shout info, but you found it.

We had to use these for some chinese crane's that were purchased, to adapt american PSU's into the chinese cranes, because the company in china was out of the PSU's and wasn't able to meet demand on them.

I think we had to buy something like 2-400 of each plus pins at a shot....but we had 100+ of the cranes in the field, and we had another order for 50+ inbound at the time. We had to do it at the PSU end, as we were the parts warehouse and the field agents they had doing collections were pretty much soccer moms....and couldn't be trusted to work a multimeter, let alone repin power connectors properly. :(

You should honestly, just get the connectors from JST for each side...plug and receptacle, and then repin them all, so that you don't have to mess with those connectors anymore.

@Mrhide - You might give a shout to this guy.

His email link is on the page i posted.

He has a page documenting his work on a Quasar here.

If he doesn't reply, put a metric and standard ruler on the pins to find the appropriate pitch....probably metric as they're european....but not definite.

Once you have the pitch, you should be able to find SOMETHING from molex that will make due.....

not a lot of documentation on Zaccaria stuff, to be fair.
