NAC Splitfire: JAMMA streaming solution

Has anyone found a fix for the audio issues with the Splitfire? Do I need to lift or reflow the volume knob pot? I am getting crackling sounds and no feedback from the knob.
Using the following items with the setup in order.

New Astro City: Unit
SplitFire: (Black PCB version)
RGB's: jamma extender
RGB's: Reco 4.1
M72 Multi: Game
Extron: VGA/Audio 6ft cable (the one that has the 3.5 jack that runs along with the VGA cable).
Extron MVX 44 VGA A: This is main hub that splits my sources.
Rondo's: HD15-2-SCART
Retro Tink5X: to pull in the feed
Røde Stream X to tie it all together.

Thanks in advance.

I am in the same boat. Is OSSC the recommended scaler?
I use the OSSC to go into a PC 19" Monitor in the Mini Cute Repro. It works great. Depending on your purpose each scaler offers more features at a price point. @SC-Ultra and I tested ALOT of Arcade PCB's and 4K had a high compatibility so I would recommend the 4K CE if you can afford it

i would choose the full price 4k instead for arcade capture if u play a lot of tate games. the rotate feature is locked on the CE. is that alone worth the extra 200 or whatever bucks? i think so but others may dissagree. it really depends on your use case, but its something to take into consideration.

If you're using the 4k for capturing, you can just rotate in software.
True, for my use case which i capture as well as display on a big TV, I gotta use the rotate feature. Like I said, it's different use case for everyone but that's what I need.
