For Sale
I just recently got a Ms Pacman / Galaga 20th anniversary pcb and to my surprise had no flip option!

I received my kit yesterday and it works like a charm ! Thank you FrancoB

Excellent! Thanks for letting me know ^^

Progress update:

Orders either consisted of E2 only kits, E2 & NAC kits or NAC only kits.

  • All E2 only kits made and shipped.
  • E2 kits for E2 & NAC orders made, waiting for NAC to be finished
  • NAC kits to be finished
All of the housings are printed for the NAC kits, I'm just waiting for my buddy to check the cable length on the kit I sent him. I think he was working on it last night. As soon as I get the green light on the cable length I can get the NAC ones finished and shipped. They do take an age to make so I'm looking at about two weeks to get all the remaining ones finished. As before I'll send out invoices just prior to shipping.

So, thanks to my good buddy @ElQuijote7, the NAC kits are confirmed good to crack on with. I wanted to make sure everything was as good/optimum as it could be before committing to making any more.

Here's some pics of his install and testing, he kindly checked the cable length for both vertical and horizontal monitor orientation and we are good for both:

Monitor pulled and kit installed:

Again, massive thanks for @ElQuijote7 for testing and taking the photos which I'll use for the guide. He's a very experienced and knowledgeable arcade enthusiast and talented 3D printer amongst other things who should really post here a lot more! ;)

Thanks buddy. Will be packed today and booked ready for collection tomorrow morning

I've got about half of the NAC kits made over the last few days and shipped this morning. I'm starting another set shortly. I plan to get most of them done whilst waiting for some more JST connectors and braiding to arrive.

I got my kit and man, great packing job, great tape (I love it!) and of course the switch looks fantastic! When I have some time I'll plug it up and test it!

Thank you so much Franco!

I got the invoice and I sorta recognized the company name but couldn't remember from where so kinda ignored it. Got a reminder today and finally clicked on it to see what it was for (email didnt say). Paid it immediately after seeing. Lol

Same thing happened to me :)

Thanks for the comments bud, glad you're happy with the packing at least. :D I hope you'll continue to be happy once installed ^^

After sending an invoice to myself I think I may see the issue. When you get the invoice the email itself doesn't say what its for. There is a 'Notes from seller' field that I fill in but this is just general notes about the next steps of fulfilment, I assumed you got to see at least an overview of the invoice in the email but you only get to see this once you click 'View and Pay Invoice'.

I can't see a way to change the email title or other content of the email to make it clearer but I will change the info in the 'Notes from seller' to make it a little more obvious what it's for.

Thanks for the feedback both. @Mitsurugi-w - thanks for the payment, I've just shipped your parcel and you should have received tracking info.

UPDATE:

I've shipped all complete orders and I've made sub-assemblies of everything else I can whilst waiting for JST connectors and braiding to finish them off. Both JST and the braiding seller have been a bit tardy and have only just shipped their packages so I'm guessing another week or so before they both get to me and I can finish up.

I have got the [NAC installation guide] finished and uploaded. There's really not a lot to the install but I've added a little information in case it helps.

There are tinyurl links to corresponding guide on the label on each of the kit bags. Currently the E2 guide just has a link to the fantastic video @Lazyace did. I've not felt like any additional written steps are required but I'm happy to add any if anyone thinks they would be useful.

Astro flipper arrived! Beautiful piece of kit, looking forward to the install 👍👍

@FrAshi - ah great! Glad you got it. Hope you enjoy!

@Low_Blow - thank you, noted!

Update.... All kits ordered prior to yesterday have been made, paid for, packed and shipped and all tracking details have been sent out. Thanks to all for smooth transactions.

A couple more orders have come in (including yours @Low_Blow ) since making the last set. I'm going to need to pause on these for a little while as I have a batch of VUMM kits that I need to get out. I'll pick these up again afterwards or I might get to work on them in any downtime in the middle. I had a count up and I've currently got enough parts in for approx another 10.

I've been speaking with a couple of members and it looks like the kits should fit most of the MS-2930/1/2/3/4 series as the look to use the same yoke connectors and from what manuals I've seen they reference the same CN401 and CN501 connectors too. It looks like Nanao stuck with that part of the yoke design after the MS9. That should make them compatible with Blast City's etc too. It looks like they'll also be compatible with the Sanwa PFX too.

Just installed on my Astro City. Such a great kit! Super convenient now. Thank you again!

Sounds good!

Finally got this installed, all is good thank you @FrancoB !

However now I need to recap my other PCB because the caps have started leaking.

The internet says I need to swap C13, C14 and C15. They are all 4.7uF at 25V but does anyone have a Mouser or a Digikey reference ?

No for the Namco Collection PCBs
They are 4.3mm land size, 4mm diameter....measured directly via pcb with calipers.

Cant tell you the tolerance, but 20% should be fine, and you want the highest lifetime @ 105C you can get based on those parameters.

Should give you all the info you need to hunt these down.

These caps absolutely do leak though, and you'll get streaking or discoloration on your video, if they've started to.
