I'm sorry to bring this up again, but what type of programmer did you use to burn your roms? I have a TL866 MiniPro and I just couldn't figure out what type of IC type should I select. Any help please?Well on first test, one rom was bad, reburned one and all is good ! son and I are having a blast with Maximum hangtime! thanks guys!
well, it's using 5 rows of EPROMS so...Is this the more desireable 4-row Wolf Unit, or is it the 5-row Wolf Unit?
Thanks, I wasn't sure. Orientation thing (landscape vs. portrait) + wishful thinking.well, it's using 5 rows of EPROMS so...
That one is NBA Hangtime. I got 6 of these boards. Only need one for a UMK3 conversion. One seems to fully work. The only other one that boots has a RAM error. All the other ones have EPROM's and stuff pulled. Time to start testing the other boards.based on the ROM configuration it's one of these 3:NBA Hangtime: u110-u113 (8Mb), u118-u133 (8Mb)
NBA Maximum Hangtime: u110-u113 (8Mb), u118-u133 (8Mb)
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: u110-u113 (8Mb), u118-u133 (8Mb)
I have an RWT, what do you want photos of?honestly the whole 4-row/5-row thing isn't valid, I wrote that based on information in the MAME driver but if you read through the posts on this thread reality is different than what's in MAME. There is a chip at U55 that is used for some games and the posts just above yours show some CMOS differences as well..
I think we still don't know 100% all of the relevant differences in this hardware.
we can figure this out. some great pics have been posted of MK3, WWF, and NBA boards, but we still need some high res/clear enough to read the chip label pics of 2 on 2 open ice and rampage world tour.
check if u55 is populated and check the chip model installed in u62I have an RWT, what do you want photos of?
