APOCALYPSE M92 Wait List and Sales Thread!!!

@Mitsurugi-w Should I have received a notification RE tracking? I haven't seen anything.
Only first 3 have shipped. Rest of the pre-pays are coming very soon. (Within days hopefully)

Whats rough eta on how long wait list might take?
I'm not sure yet. It takes quite a few hours to assemble each one right now because I can't use my smd oven because of the size of these pcbs but that should change soon. :)

Please post more bragging about your kit. :)
Sure thing!

Install was straight forward. Had to change 3 jumpers according to my version of the ROM board. Loaded up a few games for some quick testing and it's working perfectly so far. So happy this finally happened! I've had my major title 2 for about 2 or 3 years awaiting this.

I was initially looking forward to R-Type Leo but there's so many bangers on m92 it's a little overwhelming with what to start playing :D

On a side note this finally pushed me to learn how to program eproms. Not that hard but a challenge going in blind.

Thank you @Mitsurugi-w and thank you Apocalypse for an amazing multi.

I've started a new thread for info and help on installation and usage of the M92 Multi. I've posted the installation manual over there so you can begin preparing your pcbs for the multi. Note that if you are using a Korean pcb you have additional steps to do to prepare your pcb. Those steps are outlined in the manual. Thread is here:

Sexy stuff there!

Will there be an *ahem* kick harness add on for pk soccer eventually?
"World PK Soccer, have been converted to run on the M92 Multi. Since M92 is less capable hardware than M107, World PK Soccer originally required a specialized kick sensor, so the M92 version doesn’t allow you to kick a goal. "

I'm not sure what is it you want exactly.
That game has a dedicated romboard with connectors for the extra sensors. Even if a way was found to hook up the sensors, what are you going to do next? Mount a football ball on an arm?
That said a software hack could be made so a press on a button would actually kick the ball, but how fast? Should it be max speed? Defeats the whole purpose of the "game" (it's more a strength/skill testing machine).

Ah. I figured it was more a button type pad press thing.
I am not terribly familiar with the game.
Yeah no. I don't want a full ball.
The only thing I could think of is perhaps a trackball would allow the force to be varied.

Regardless, I am looking forward to this multi.

I guess that without all the additional hardware is a different game. I can only think that someone talented enough, could make it so that depending how fast and how many times you hit the kick button in 1 sec will define the power, like in the sport games, but I'm not sure if the game is prepared for such a delay counting clicks. For sure it's not an easy hack.

PRICE WILL BE $450

Multis are now shipping! You will be contacted in the order you are on the list below to purchase. Please respond in the thread if you would like to be added to thecm wait list.

The goal is for EVERY M92 pcb to be a compatible donor. We are very confident we will achieve this. The main kit pcb is good. We only need to confirm measurements of the various romboard socket spacing for the daughterboards. If your intended donor is Major Title 2/Skins Game then the kit is technically ready for you right now.

PICS ARE OF A PROTOTYPE. COLOR AND CERTAIN PARTS WILL CHANGE.
