For the record:
one board has bios A, the other has bios B ... and it is NOT an issue.
The second monitor is 31hz only (hey for the price I paid, I am not complaining! aka the price of one monitor for the whole game!) so i had to use my hacked gbs 8200, which DARN IT, does not do 640x480 when hacked! it only does 720x480 which, if you want to match the other monitor and make "one" screen, is a big no go.
I ordered a "vanilla one" to see if it will save me from putting a nanao in there. Should be here tomorrow.

so yeah ... it went down the stairs
and I've been working on fixing pincushion on one of the screen but the !@#$!@# got the best of me and I gave up, going with a spare nanao I had :
... that's when I learned about curvature:
it doesn't fit!
