Looks like I'm going to have to order a few chips for myself in the next few days here to finish off the other thread's initial batch of orders.

So I'm hoping to get a show of hands for people who have a v3 161 in 1 cart, and want to have it turned into a vortex cart. No second donor cart needed, just need your initial cart.

270 for the work on your cart, Domestic shipping is 20.

Same game list as in the other thread. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16aCpPoJxHt-60g2U6N9eUfncmFS8n7z6DWqIOujL-qs/edit?usp=sharing

Don't need anything from anyone now aside from a show of hands, but I will basically be able to start working on them in a couple weeks no problem. There are only a handful of original orders left to complete.

I also have an MVS 161 in 1 V3 cart, so while I was on the waitlist for just 1 AES, would it be possible to also put me down for 1 MVS as well?

No problem at all. I don't have 75 orders in front of me at this point, so happy to take on more work!

Hi! I have an AES V3 cart here, I'd be happy to ship to you. I'm already on the waiting list but can move me over to BYOC.

I'll move you on over. Probably 2-3 weeks and I'll be ready for folks to ship. Actually, might take 2-3 weeks to arrive from you, so if you want to ship it, I can do that!

Thanks!!

Let me know when you want the cart shipped to you - I'm EU based so the sooner its on the road/sea/air the better :)
For the reverse postage I'll use a parcel forwarding service in the US to save you hassle.

Have reached out to everyone at this point with payment and shipping details.

I’ve got an AES that appears to be a V3. My issue is that some, but not all, games have vertical lines in the graphics. Many of them are perfect, but Metal Slug, KOF, SamSho and others have the lines. The same games on original cartridges do not do this so I’m fairly certain it’s not the console. A bunch of buyers were complaining about it in the reviews on AliExpress so the seller deleted the listing and created a new one. I guess we got a bad batch. I’d love to convert this thing but I fear the graphics issue might persist.

That's a connection to one of the C rom data lines being either shorted to another data line, or cut. Likely a bad soldering job. Affects some games and not others depending on what chip that sprite lives on.

It would be a non-issue as I have spare chips to replace any bad ones anyway!

You'll have to pop it open and double check what's inside to see if it's compatible. Shoot a pic of the boards and we can get the ball rolling if you'd like.

Here's a pic of the PCBs and the graphics glitch.
