What's new
If anyone needs an UltraBIOS label for their cart, I recently had them reprinted, hit me up: https://www.arcade-projects.com/thr...lti-kit-labels-cps-2-cps-3-st-v-f3-etc.18226/

Carts are selling real quick. You'd better grab yours while they are still available. Btw, if you need a repro CPS3 cart, send me a PM. I still have about 10 left.

I just got my order in thru HSS.I'm upgrading from the previous superbios Kit.Can I use that cartridge with the ultra bios kit? also, how do I program the games on these new simms?

From the order page:

To program the SIMMS -

Two adapter boards compatible with TL86_PLUS aka PROMAN are included with this purchase.

In order to program the memory modules, you will need a TL86_PLUS programmer (aka PROMAN). This programmer USUALLY costs about $85 and is easily available from China using AliExpress or possibly ebay. Programmer is not included.

Notice that the pinout of each SIMM is different -

  • 64Mb Simms have 2 flash chips and must be programmed with the adapter that has a switch and the text "Adapter SIMM 512 (TL86)"
  • 128Mb Simms have 1 flash chip and must be programmed with the adapter that has no swich and the text "Adapter SIMM 1G (TL86)"
The programming process is very simple and take approx. 3 minutes per SIMM.

Please be aware that the kit will need a new BIOS that will be published in the forum...It works only with carts that have the Standard SH2 processors.

Thanks!

so it looks like they stopped producing the TL86_Plus, they told me the XGecu T48 is the upgrade, is that true or will that work as well?

T56 is what I got.
I assume you may need a different adapter then. Which is unfortunate.
If getting a programmer today t56 is best bang for the buck if doing many pin eproms often.

Does anybody know a source where i can buy the Proman / TL86_PLUS in germany? - All above links wont work for me since "we wont ship to your region" - For some stupid reason (i guess it has to do with some stupid local law) - A lot of stuff on ebay/aliexpress is unavailable in germany

I searched for the programmer on aliexpress, ebay, google ... no available purchase option for me :(

Is someboy (within EU?) willing to buy the programmer for me and sent it to me? - of course i would pay for all expensives and a little "thank you" on top :)

I'll have to program my SIMMs. So, I won't mind programming yours.

Thanks @ark125 very kind of you.
@Orakelschaf if there is more people in your situation we can do a group buy, but you usually program them once with 8 games and let it there. It's better if someone close to you can program them for you.

@ark125 : Thanks a lot for the offer! If i don't get my hands on a programmer i will get in touch with you

I really would love to buy the progammer and do it by myself (i just love that stuff)

I'm new here, but I pre-ordered a set of ultra SIMMs off of high score saves last week and am looking to also get a repro CPS3 cart, are there any more carts left for sale?
