C&D is not available on the CPS-2 multi. There’s a conversion of CPS 1.5 Punisher availabe to play on it though.

Darksoft CPS-1 multi is in development and scheduled for reveal in the near future, most likely before the end of the year?

Levels difficulty playing all SF2, SF2 CE... will be selectable in the test mode menu, too?

Difficulty for CPS-1 games are set by DIP switches, so that will obviously work.

No 100% confirmation about C&D or other CPS 1.5 games running natively on the upcoming multi, it’s been hinted at/rumored though.
 
What versions will be installed? Jap or US?
And the full set? that is the 31 games developed by Capcom including:
- Ken sei Mogura
- Pang 3
- Muscle Bomber
- Saturday Night Slam Masters ?

And in terms of sound quality : Q sound like the CPS1.5's version?

originally the CPS2 multi required that you use modified/decrypted game code to bypass the built into the CPS2.
A few years after the multi's relese it was discovered how to re-write the security/decryption "keys" on the CPS2 so that we could use original unmodified/encrypted game code.

the add-on is a little wiring harness that is necessary to be installed if you want the ability to run original/encrypted game code and re-write the security keys. Without it you will need to run modified/decrypted game ROMs.
 
so this allows me to simplify the installation and use the suisided board as is?

Regardless of your donar B board, suicided or not, you have two options.

Run decrypted rom pack.

Install key writing wires and run original encrypted roms.

There's really no difference between both in terms of gaming.

LCD cable, do you want to mount LCD selector directly to CPS2 or run it somewhere far away? That will tell you if you want the longer cable.
 
I got a spare phoenixed rev 4 board I going to use. Where is the best place to buy the kit for shipping to UK.

I want to run the encrypted romset, is this relativity easy on a rev 4 board? My doesn't seem to have the CN header.

It's a little trickier, but not impossible either. You just have to solder to the CN connectors using this pinout:

DATA → CN2 A32
SETUP1→ CN2 A30
CLOCK → CN2 A31
SETUP2 → CN2 A29
