Found these cables in my Naomi Cab

Maple bus cables. Used for Dreamcast controller ports and standalone VMU ports.

These things were a bitch to wire into my net city (through the side rails) but hey, this hobby doesn't come easy.

Thinking back these particular cables weren't THAT bad, but still, you have to remove the monitor surrounds and side rails right? I know I removed the side rails but I feel like there was more to it than that. Or maybe i'm thinking of when I wired my other one for JAMMA. None the less on a blast city you just drop them through a hole =)

Yeah, I can't see there being any issue as long as you take the cover off.

I’ve never needed to take mine off, do I remove the top cap and just slide the cover up?

Yeah, remove the screws for the cover too.

Sometimes the monitor back cover can press on the leg cover and stop it from sliding. So if the leg cover is not budging, you might have to take the monitor cover off too.

On my cab, thoses cables are used with my card readers (virtua striker 4 TF), it's wired inside an orange box below naomi panel (card reader) and go to the bottom of the cab (trought legs) to a little pcb car linked to Triforce system.
