Hi,

I'm new to arcades and bought a PGM board (Rev. 5) with Demon Front. When I first played this, I only recognised a little flickering and the highscores. Playing the game was still fine. But then I removed resistor R24 and D2 and replaced the battery with a battery holder. After that it began to flicker more.
This video shows the flickering.
Can it be the low voltage of 4,7 V, the battery replacement, or even worse a faulty game?
I also checked the game board. I can'T see any damaged traces or bend chip feet.
This is my first arcade game and it was quite expensive. I won't hope that the game is faulty. This would be a pain.
I'll hope you experts could help me out.

Greetings

Ok guys,
I soldered r24 and d2 in and removed the battery. No problems at all even with 4,75V.
So for now, I don‘t need a new PSU.
Maybe I will try a new original Battery instead, or upgrade the psu. But for now all is god and I can enjoy this game without glitches.
