I designed the first version of this mount in April of 2020: https://www.instagram.com/p/B_cmBzwH7cv/

At the time I was having problems with people stealing and re-selling my designs which was hurting my 3D printing business so I decided to not release the files for this one publicly.

I closed up my 3D printing business a while back and recently was playing around with the Saturn and Fenrir and decided it's time to share this one with the community.

you can download it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6674286/files

This is revision 1.6 of the design, it changed a number of times to support new variations of the Fenrir ODE (while still also supporting the older revs). I stopped updating it before the new "DUO" device came out. I don't have a duo to test fit so it may need some customization to make that version work.

If you print one of these please post a picture of your make (I love seeing them) and if you do make these for others then I'd ask that you give credit and post a link back to the thingiverse page.

I printed this to use with a Fenrir Duo. I printed the default model face down with supports, which was maybe a mistake as cleaning out the SD card slots was a pain. I should have tried the custom supports model.

It seems to fit the Duo PCB fine, but the bottom lip doesn't hold the PCB well (maybe it didn't print correctly) so I ended up using some tape to keep it held down.

Also, minor complaint, there's enough clearance between the top of the SD card slot and the slot in the mount to stick an SD card in and lose into the void and have to open your console up.

Thanks for making this available, since it finally made me install this thing.

did you use the model I made with custom supports or did you generate your own supports?

for the older model fenrir they should snap in snugly to the point where you risk breaking the arms if you ever want to remove it. There shouldn't be any gaps that would cause you to lose your card.

if you have some calipers and can measure the height and thickness (of both the PCB alone and the PCB+ SD slot) of the duo I can compare it to the older models.

I used the model with no supports and then auto generated supports on the build plate only in the Prusa slicer. I think some of the lip on the bottom edge probably got lost in the support material or the lowish 0.3mm resolution I used.

FWIW I design all of my parts around a 0.2mm resolution and 0.4mm nozzle. So all of the wall thicknesses in the designed are tuned around that. I should probably add that detail to the thingiverse page.
