Hello to all !

Im happy today becouse i got my new MV1C from Aliexpress...
Here is it after battery, stereo and bios mod and a general clean up :)
After some tests everything works fine but I have two important doubts.

1) What is this ? Corrosion ? I have to worry ?
2) I applied the bios with the integrated memory card without removing the stock one and it works... the unibios starts and I can also save.
If I unsolder pins 10 and 12 of the original bios to disable it, the unibios starts giving an error on the memory card. (i solder it back now)

Nice work. I'm not familiar with the board you're using. Desoldering those pins may not be necessary with this one.

Beautiful edit man! Glad you are sharing the files for the model updates, I know quite a few people were trying to figure out how to get flaps on that cart throat! Upload the files to thingiverse or prusa’s sharing site 😁

Very clean work! I love the dust flap implementation. What was the Unibios board you have installed on there? I've never seen it before.

Thanks man, the board is a Unibios + virtual memory card.
(I get it from "Cyril Venditti" user on facebook marketplace if you need it. A great guy)

Really like this, great job!

Did you use the standard omvs boards for the internals? Only ask because the power and test buttons are usually in the front? Any pics of the inside please?

Thanks

Ps. How do you find the bamb printer? I’m thinking of getting one.

Hi LaunchBox
No i dont use OMVS standard board on kit, i put power button on rear panel and standard cable for db15 (pad port)
I use this: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005...db1c1b1c&utparam-url=scene:search|query_from:

Solder directly on jamma port.

I made this kit for myself and actually didn't think about the people who bought the kit with the card.
If you are interested in the same customizations on the original case I can make a variant of the model.
(sacrificing the writing in front)
I dont have any picture on the internal and solder stuff because its basically all connector solder to correct pin on jamma port and other point.
( partly also to hide the mess of cables I left behind :D )

Let me know what you think !

Thanks for the reply.

What did you use to get RGB (direct from jamma pins, did you use an amp) also what connection are you using for the RGB cable?
Do you have links to the parts used?

I will be ordering a Bambi labs printer this evening, so I’ll have a crack at your case :)

How easy/ difficult is it to change or add logos in the Bambu slicer? I want to have the Neo Geo writing like on an aes console.

Thanks again :)

I put the RGBS from jamma connector to mini usb, so i can connect with usb cable from mvs to "https://github.com/ramapcsx2/gbs-control"
Basically i solder a USBA female on gbs control to map on rgbs pin.

I think you can cut and join face on Bambu studio but its bettere to use Fusion 360 clean work.
If you need help to do this send me the model and description of where you what the change i can help you.
