Console JAMMAizer! Easily connect home consoles to your JAMMA arcade cabinet.

Somewhat related to question above, but if I wanted to to put a Wii in a JVS cabinet, what would be the preferred approach. A bit confused about controls with the I/O.

I can move this if too off topic.

I received mine yesterday, kudos to Arthrimus for the packaging!

I'd try the Jammaizer with MiSTer for 240p direct video to MS8/9 CRT: I have a proper HDMI->VGA converter, can I go from it to VGA hat with a VGA consumer cable or should I modify something in the cable (pin9)?
Is DB15toScart cable (like the one for the Analogue I\O Board) a better alternative?

Hey guys. I am planning on doing another run of the Console JAMMAizers soon and I wanted to throw out an idea that I'm working on to see if there's any interest. You might have seen my other major project the Scalable Video Switch. As I have been developing various modules for the SVS I have been working on transcoding Component to RGB and RGB to Component. It's still a work in progress, but once I have a working design I will be able to offer a Component Input Hat for the console JAMMAizer using the same technology. Pricing is hard to predict at the moment because of the design still being incomplete but it will definitely be more expensive than the VGA hat. If there's any interest in this I would love to hear your feedback. It would support Component input at 240p, 480i, and 480p depending on what your arcade monitor can accept.

Here's a render of what it should look like when it's completed.

This should be useful for Gamecube, Wii, and PS2, XBOX, PS3, XBOX 360 480p. Possibly more use cases, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Would you be interested in buying a component input module? Let me know what you guys think!

I love the JAMMAizer. I mainly use it with Dreamcast and X360 through the VGA hat, in conjunction with a downscaler to get 24khz.

But having a component hat would be fantastic. I have to go through a lot of hoops to get Wii playing nice on a cab for the Konami Rebirth games and Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

I’d be interested in a component hat for sure.

Yes.
Would it work with the current version of Jammaizer?

as someone with a lot of hd retrovision cables, I'd absolutely be in for a component hat

Sorry if this was asked before but is there pre-made controller cables for Dreamcast?

If anyone is looking for a JAMMAizer V1 or V2, I have both versions brand new. PM me if interested.
