So I got a Ketsui conversion cart for the PGM not too long ago. I don't know why but Ketsui sounds scratchy while DOJ and my other carts do not. I have seen on this thread that other users have experienced a similar situation with different CAVE PGM conversations. Does this have anything to do with the quality of the conversion? This cart was completely cleaned before use. Other carts tested did not exhibit the same sound issue.
it's funny because I was going through my PGM carts earlier today and thought about this issue.
I had an Espgaluda that was really flawless/pristine, Mint PCB with everything done exactly right... scratchy audio, then I had another one that looked it came out of a swamp and soldered with lighter and coat-hanger... audio was flawless.
I don't have both of these anymore for an A/B comparison but I wonder if it has to do with the speed of the audio ROM used.
