What's new
The difference is that the new DLL waits a bit longer when initializing the JVS.

Can you share a picture of the IO ? I have version 838-13683-92 A and it works fine with the Type X2 Multi.

Do you have a RS485 adapter @tacobell ?

Unfortunately, I don’t know what an RS485 adapter is.

Thank you for the picture @tacobell, after testing a bit I believe the issue is not in the DLL but in the ttxshell. Just need to think of a clever fix.

No worries. Just let me know what you need me to do on my end. Appreciate the help!
Try replacing the ttxshell.exe with this new one, and let me know if it works.

Tried this new ttxshell.exe with the both the old and new dll but didn’t run.

However, the Capcom I/O works.
I know this sounds crazy, especially since the capcom I/O works. But have you tried a different USB cable?

Another thought, can you verify voltage being supplied to the I/O?

During development the Sega Rev B was the I/O I used. So I know it's compatible.

Improper voltage though, could explain why one I/O works when the other doesn't.

Is there a specific usb cable I should try? I have a bunch but not sure what I should be looking for.

As for verifying voltage, where should I measure? Jamma edge?

Any old USB-B to USB-A cable ( like a printer cable ) should do the job.

You'll want to measure 5v at the JAMMA edge.

Hey there, fantastic front end to load games on the X2. I've encountered a few nitpicks that had been mentioned in this thread in passing but haven't been able to properly resolve them. I have a machine primarily running Ultra Street Fighter 4 and the two nitpicks are:
1. The directory used to store bookkeeping/config/localscore files is different when autobooting (D:\...) versus picking on the menu (D:\Game Name\...). It's a little annoying changing games and having to reboot the system in order to resume the previous autoboot game with the correct scores and settings;
2. The game patch feature does not seem to work with USF4, it would be nice to avoid burn-in from the bottom icon and title screen warning. I've tried different builds of the game to no avail, haven't found good documentation on how patch.ini works and I've even decompiled ttxrun and ttxshell in an attempt to find out what those already attempt to patch but nothing. Unlocker from iDmacX is UPX packed so I'm out of luck there as well.
Once again this performs amazing even on a bone stock X2 w/ 512MB RAM and has brought in some fresh air to a system once stuck with SSF4 Export (I've noticed discussions about dumping it and I do have a backup if interested), if there's anything that can be done over these nitpicks I'd much appreciate it :)

I'll shoot you a PM, but it sounds like you're running a frankenstein build of the multi. These issues should not be happening.

You will however need atleast 1GB of RAM for USF4

The patch.ini is in offset;byte format.
