Hello all,

I have a problem with my cyberlead.No controls anymore .I tested with a Naomi motherboard and with an Irkenlabs jvs to jamma for PCB. I controlled all cables and changed them but it’s the same.

Impossible to have any controls and coins no detected.

Do you know someone who could repair the ioboard plz? Or maybye any solution to change with an Other ioboard ?

It’s very hard to see a beautiful candy with a perfect picture without any chance to play 🤦‍♂️

The Naomi test menu should be able to tell you if it detects an IO at all, so should the display on the Irkenlabs adapter.

Check all your JVS (USB) cables. Make sure they're properly connected between the game, link board, and IO. Try bypassing the link board and go directly from the game to the IO.

Check your power to the IO board. I can't remember if the IO board has any LEDs on it to indicate if it's on or not.

I have had SMD capacitors fail on lots of namco stuff from this era, including the Cyber Lead audio amp and link board. My original Cyber Lead PSU also failed.
 
The same my PSU failed too. I put a Sanwa PSU.

There is no led ….. I already checked all connectors . I trepassed too the link board directly to the game …the same issue.
Impossible to enter in the menu of the fronted too ☹️ with the ioboard from cyberlead and the Naomi told me no ioboard detected.

Yes the same too the audio amp failed.i changed it with an Other amp. This candy make me crazy but I love the cyberlead.

"CL 1 I/O D" = D, which is version 2.2

It's the later version and more desirable one.

I do have a spare CL 1 I/O B that I could sell, but it's an older revision, there was a thread on here that ran through the differences between the 2 x CL1 and 1 x CL2 IOs.

If you only play games via Jamma then it likely won't be an issue.
 
Honnestly, I use the cyberlead only for jamma games.
With this version there is no problem with lcd fronted ?
