Wood plate unknown threaded thing

Hi,
How to remove this stuff without hurting the hole in the wood plate with the possibility to re-use it by putting it back to the same hole (same intact hole)? Adding a crew then hitting with a hammer the other side is a way but is it possible to keep the hole intact? Anyway, what's the name of that threaded stuff?

It's called a knock-in insert. To remove one I just put a long screw halfway in and then hit it with a hammer. Sometimes the wood gets damaged, it is what it is.

Done without any serious damage. Btw, the japanese name is ''Onime'' nut.
