Stupidly burned this little guy by the scsi

So we got a new vs city and got excited and started to place our cps3 board in. We got the scsi error, went to reseat it but missed the first 2 pins. This little diode blew. What is the best way to get out going again. The board works but gives the no cd error. Please advise

If you have a 32 MB SIMM lying around you could carefully use hot air to desolder this same resistor off of it & replace this broken one on your board. Should work well (provided this is the only thing that got damaged)?
