Note: I am not done with the full custom harness build but I am done with the electrical work so no matter how you decide to harness it all up, the pinout and procedure is accurate.

Currently it's all alligator clipped up so I could test everything.

I did this schematic because the manual had some omissions that were important to the overall wiring (thanks Konami)

Thrill Drive 2 Pinout (also accurate for GTI Club 2 and Code One Dispatch. Probably accurate for Xtrial Racing but UNTESTED)

Pots are B5K linear three pins...so very standard

Steering

Pot Ground - GND E
Pot Center - 25 (1P4) - PARTS SIDE
Pot Top - 5V

Start (P1)
GND - E (Common)

Accel

GND - E
Signal - (2P4) solder side
5V - Power


Brake

GND - E
Signal - 26 (1P5) parts side
5V - Power

Handbrake

GND - E
5V
2P5 (closed = off, open = ON) - can be set as analog potentiometer or digital open/closed signal

NOTE: the schematic will tell you to tap TILT for the power to potentiometers. You can do this if you want. It is just another 5V line. I just used a 5V header I had available


I modded in an old PC pedal set and a wheel. But you could do this with a controller as well. I tested the GameCube controller and all analog values were good. Only issue was cable routing inside the controller itself. I didn't feel like taking the time to figure THAT out.
