Hello all,

I'm trying to find a Eprom chip.. which normally would be easy for google..... And a few data sheets. BUT I can't find it anywhere.....

Its a 42 pin DIP wide. Pin 42 is +5V, Pin 41 is the highest address line, Pin 40 is +5V. Should be a 16 or 32 mbit in 16bit wide data bus.

Its meant to be pin compatible with the MX27C4096 OR AMD AM27C4096

Chips it is NOT/ pin outs arn't right!!!

ST M27C 800, 801, 802, 160, 320, 322.
MX 29F1615, 1611, 1610

Anyone might have a better memory than mine??

Thanks heaps,

D.

Here is the pin out it needs to be compatable with...

I have still not had any luck finding it.

I need to find a larger chip that is compatible with the 4096 chip. Basically it will have 4 extra legs.. BUT the pin out is compatable with the 4096...

400/800/160/322 are the only 42 pin EPROMs I'm aware of. It could be a custom mask ROM?

You could make an adapter for it

Do you a photo of the original chip that you want to find a eprom for? Which game and pcb position is this chip for?

In the end i just made up a PCB to convert the "odd" pinout of the 27c4096 to the expanded 27c160 and 322.
Thanks,

T.
Still can you please take a picture of the original chip.
And as asked before what game is it and what's the position of the EPROM?
It would be extremely useful for others and I'm also really curious since I've never seen anything like what you described.
