Not really. If it works with your 3.5 then it means that the cartridge is OK
 
I read here that pins B23 and B24 had to be soldered
Is this still the case or has an update taken place since then which would avoid having to resort to this.
(it bothers me because I have to open the cartridge and I'm afraid of breaking it)

That was only happening with the very first units that were sold and immeditely announced and fixed.
 
You can manually check if you take the cart apart. Just be very careful to not break the sd slot. Take your time.

I am not able to open

I looked through the cartridge and I don't see the jumper wire
 
If you cant do it then you need to arrange to send it to someone to apply the fix or just not use it on that console.
 
The cart is well out of warranty but if you cover shipping I'm sure we can get it modded for you ok still.
 
Yes, the warranty is well past its due date.
I have never encountered this problem because I have only just got a console with a motheboard Nec
I understand that delivery costs must be advanced
 
It's really a simple mod. If you can't find anyone in France that can do it for you, you can send it to me to Poland.
