What Model of 32-1 is this?

Totally understand and you're right, it's not horrible playing the Japanese version anyway. It's all just interesting since it's so cheap. I might end up picking it up and giving to my friend and see if he wants to take a look at those 8 eproms as you mentioned to see if he can read the data...

What Model of 32-1 is this?

OH Interesting @erdrick1980. Seller doesn't have a remote for the CPS2, but that's cool. Wonder how that worked and if there is a way to make it work with a universal remote or something. But yeah the DIP switches seemed fine for changing the games as long as you got the list. Regarding what...

What Model of 32-1 is this?

Hey thanks for taking the time to reply to this. While the Darksoft is pretty awesome, I'm still kind of interested in this mainly because of how much he'd be willing to let it go for well well below the $300 (and still has it available). My friend would take a look at reflashing it with...

DARKSOFT CPS2 Multikit: Instructions and videos (old version till 10.2020)

Quick question about older CPS2 Multi Darksoft kits that aren't setup with Key Writing abilities. I'm not asking for the files, just asking if they do exist. But is there a decrypted English language (either USA, ASIA or EUROPEAN) version of Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter and...

CPS2 Bad connection A and B board Asia Version

Make sure all the pins that connect the A to B board aren't bent in or some other issue. I had a few pins actually pushed in and weren't as high as the others after doing a lot of swapping. Had to get some tweezers to pull some back up. A lot of times people are in a rush to get them...

What Model of 32-1 is this?

I see someone in my local area selling this, and he's willing to sell it pretty cheap fully functional and working after messaging him. It uses DIP Switches to change the game before booting up. But he said that all the games are in Japanese language, and that they can't be changed out...

    WTB Konami CN3 / CN4 Connectors

Thanks a ton! That was helpful since I didn't know the actual name of the connectors. Found an eBay seller if anyone cares and needs em in the future. https://www.ebay.com/itm/334694335236

    WTB Konami CN3 / CN4 Connectors

Hopefully a quick question. Anyone know where I can buy some replacement CN3 / CN4 (player 3 and 4) connectors that I can resolder back onto a Sunset Riders board? Picked up a board from someone and got the game up and running, but someone at some point decided to solder and bend the...

    Atomiswave bootleg carts?

I know this is an old topic, but curious if anyone has any video footage or screenshots of how bad the glitches are for Samurai Shodown VI? At this point I've come to the realization I'm never going to find a reasonably priced original LOL, but still would like to have one to play on every once...

Sega Model 2/3 A/B/C - CRX and how I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb.

So on this Model 2A I got is 3 boards. Looks like the Rom Game board on top, then two full boards. My power supply is definitely doing 5v. Model 2B game is working fine, and other games are working fine with 5v.

Oh, I wasn't aware it needed 3 of them. There was no pin header attached to this filter board. OK so I need to buy one of this 10 pin strips and solder it on then.

Sega Model 2/3 A/B/C - CRX and how I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb.

Hello again, hope you're all doing well. I'm back again, only this time with a Sega Model 2A game. After getting my 2B games to work perfectly, I'm having issues with the 2A games I've got, I'm hoping someone might be able to assist here. It seems like it should be simple enough to feed it 5v...

    Positive Feedback for @rolins

Figured since I couldn't find any feedback yet for @rolins I should leave some for them. Purchased an Extron unit from his listing in the marketplace. Was quick to reply, send out an invoice and ship out the item after payment. Was packaged well with no operating issues. Would buy from...

Sega Model 2/3 A/B/C - CRX and how I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb.

OK hopefully my last last question on the CRX-A / B thing. If I don't have the I/O board for a CRX-A, will the I/O from my CRX-B lineup and connect with the CRX-A with all it's connector points? Or even if it does, will it even work?

Sega Model 2/3 A/B/C - CRX and how I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb.

OK, but to keep it simple if the game didn't come on both, I can't just connect the CRX-A game board to a CRX-B motherboard.

Sega Model 2/3 A/B/C - CRX and how I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb.

Another quick question as I couldn't find a definitive answer. If a game is a Model 2A game, will it work on a Model 2B motherboard (CRX-B)? Or does it have to be 2A game to a CRX-A and a 2B game only works on a CRX-B board?
