Xeltek Superpro 610p help needed

Hi,
I'm the happy new owner of a Xeltek Superpro 610p.
I went the cheap way for buying adapters and I choose one from Aliexpress.
Now that I want to program some MX26L6420MC I have errors while blank check or erasing or programming
Do you think that my problem come from the adapter or the IC (bought brand new from Aliexpress too) ?

Your help is much appreciated !

Adapter looks exactly the same as the one I have (also bought from Ali). Never had any issues with it.

I already ordered a New batch of 26L6420, I'll test when I receive them

The ones that I have, when I read them I have 00 in some first rows of offset then it change in FF until the end
Could it be something else that I'm doing wrong ?

I can't think of any reason. Usually the software complains of ID mismatch or unconnected pins if there is something wrong.

I double checked the pins connection with a magnifying glass, no visible issues
I'll try another chip

I can tell you that looks exactly like/has the same part number as the adapter I use with my Xeltek as well.

I checked the pin connexion continuity with a multimeter and it was : OK
I downloaded the lastest program for the 610p : OK
I tried another 26L6420 from the ones that I bought from aliexpress : same issue
Here are some print screens of what I got on screen
I'm used with T48 and GQ-4X programmers but not with Xeltek
I'm I doing something wrong ?

The 4th 26L6420 in this batch seems OK
Blank check : ok
Erase : ok
Programming : ok
So problem is with the quality of the chips that I got from Aliexpress

Just to let you know, I got no chance, 9 out of 10 IC's were bad.
I received new IC's and tested them : everything works great.
So the adapter is good I just wasn't lucky I got a bad batch of new 26L6420
