I would like to try Virtua Striker 4 for the Triforce. I have Virtua Striker 4 version 2006 on my Netdimm for the European and Asian versions (available from download) but for some reason Virtua Striker 4 (normal) isn't available. I've got the original disc and pic chip for the game. How could I rip the Virtua Striker 4 disc so it could be played on the Netdimm? Does it need setting up with the correct .RAR name?

Can you tell us what the GDT-nnnn number is on your disc ?

The MAME CHD for GDT-0015 is available online.

Not that I've tried it yet, but there is this program (along with it's counterpart which is linked): https://github.com/FIX94/triforce-header-patcher

It looks like these can probably extract the dumps from those CHDs, so you could have a go and see if you're able to get normal VS4 working from that?

Thanks, I don't have a CF card reader. My GDROM is faulty and potentially dangerous for my system - with the GDROM drive hooked up it was voltage spiking the system all over the place so I won't be using it again. Is it worth trying this VS4 file in Netboot?

Well it won't hurt to try it in Netboot :)

Boots fine on my Triforce Type 1, up until the point it can't continue due to the boot firmware version being too old.

I've got a Triforce Type 3 and a Type 1. However, I've only tried this on the Type 3.

Is this for the Type 1? The person who sold me the Type 3 included the VS 4 GDROM and GDROM Drive (fully working of course), so that won't be great if it only works in the Triforce type 1.

Hi Sadly no, I'm not great with software but the pi is not finding the file. I don't know if there's no name allocated for the VS4 game in the boot files of my SD card (or it's named incorrectly). It was one thing that I thought of but no idea if correct. I might just name the VS4 file as VS06 and see what happens.

That'll be to do with whatever software you're using to netboot, but the file rtw uploaded is absolutely fine.

What software are you running on your Raspberry Pi? WiPi?
