So the jump front and tail are stuck at ON.
There is 5v going, connectors are fine, are these real optos under there? or is it some other type of sensor? It's a bit of a pain to see and have access so wondering if anyone has any clues as to what to look for.

The tail I see the optos but the front nothing?!

Good job, and looks great! I'm about to go collect money on my route, and I look forward to playing my Top Skater on location every Thursday! Glad you got yours working.

With winter approaching, i had to move the game this weekend out of the garage and in the house and shed
1- yes that coin door/lights tower can be removed to fit it into a door, there are 8 screws behind the lighs on top of the 4 from the bottow. The last screw will of course always stripped and be the hardest to remove. I’ll take pictures putting it back (the tower, not the screw)

2 - the screen is in the shop, ill try to make it nicer this winter. Stay tuned.

3- couple of pics of the inside, spotted a « crispy spot » that i fixed at once and it looks like some body added a rj11 phone jack wire and splitted the power for something that i assume was probably a networked card/credit reader of some sort?

What's the plans for the screen, refurb the rear projection as is or convert to a LCD/DLP rear projection setup?

Do you have the decals for the base?
Mine are complete but need replacing
But I have 1 side nos on hand, it’s like thick plastic

Great game, my collection is fairly large but everyone loves top skater even the type of people who I thought wouldn’t.

The game is quite addictive, 1 more go… type game. Music is awesome.
I have the dab clone (unused), and even tho I love the bold tacos of the official music, this game leans itself perfect for custom music versions.

Be also interesting to do a model 2 pc for reliability but would want it to unlock the board clutch, and do the light dances for tricks.

I do not have the decals for the base…

The tubes in the video above were not what i had in mine, so i ended up scrapping them and am in the process of (procrastination) fine tuning a short throw projector in it.

Were you based?
I can’t promise when but eventually I will have the files made, If you wanted them.

Did you see
My other post about UST PROJECTOR.
I’ve done sega rally 2 dx
I left top skater, it’s blurry and bad burn but I felt it gave it patina if you know what I mean. The game doesn’t need ultra sharpness vs being original and pure.
But I do want to play around with it.
I used a multi sync projector, which runs the medium res with nothing else … from model 3, but my small playing about with model 2 gave me huge black boarders :(
The gbs2000 have way to much lag on this game.
Not tried the open source thingy that’s about ossc is it?

But if we could pc it, and good idea would be widescreen hack in model 2 emulator and just use
