Went to get a couple of these made on PCBWay for myself and some friends only to realize the price break to make 20 is huge and it may make more sense than having 5 made. If there's even a fair bit of interest here I'll order 20.

ENIG beveled edge connectors. Assembled in whole by PCBWay.

We'd be looking at $29 shipped to your door in the US. Arriving to me around New Year's, and shipped out to you within a few days after. On aliexpress they're about $46 plus taxes, so a little over half price.

You'll have to provide your own cartridge shell (3D printed, aliexpress, or stolen off a real N64 cart and cut a bit for SD card/USB access).

So a fully assembled and working N64 flash cart, minus the case? I'll take one as well.

Any features the Everdrive has over this one?

Wellllll, we're going to have to back out of JLCPCB I guess.

From $90 to $450 to now $1984 in a matter of 3 days. I asked why (basing it off of cost discussions I'd seen about the cart other places), and they said because they no longer stock some of those parts and have to buy them from digikey and that they're far more expensive.

Never dealt with PCBWAY before, and I'm not sure I would again. At least JLCPCB doesn't keep increasing costs every step of the way after quoting lower ones. I will give it a shot with JLCPCB over the next couple days when I get a chance to read their documentation on how to give them a BOM file that won't get rejected.

Edited my post and increased the amount. Polled some friends and was able to find more buyers

Maybe it'll balance out to more sensible at a higher quantity. Or maybe JLCPCB will come through instead!

I basically haven't had more than an hour at home since Monday, but I should be home this weekend and get a quote into JLCPCB and see how we're sitting.
