Here's a pic of one:

Do you know how to put this model in Tate mode? For vertical shooting games?
Please let me know

as i recall if you use HDMI you get more in the options menu than if using VGA output. maybe try that @_rm_ ?
goodluck

p.s. i like my stupid pandoras box because I can play caveman ninja on it (still cannot bring myself to pay high $ for genuine board)

I don't think it has nothing to do with video output. Some models allow for a "custom firmware" which allows you to use a different version of MAME instead of the original, with this custom version vertical games automatically display in Tate.

If you add FBA Roms of vertical games they will automaticly display in tate mode.
Not all Roms work on this box,so you have to try out a bit.
But for example most of the Toaplan/Cave/Raizing etc. shooters do work.

I've tried that and they DO NOT display in tate. The games do work, but in Yoko. Can you add some more information? Would love to try this in tate.

Thanks in advance

Hmm,dont know whats the issue then...be sure to use the FBA versions of the Roms!
If you use the Mame Roms they will be in yoko.
Just download the FBA Roms from the games you want, put them in the FBA folder on the USB Stick, done.

Now i think that you're on to something :D
I'm not sure, but i probably used the MAME roms. Will try to source the FBA roms (i'm not used to emulators in general) and see how it goes.

Thank you very much for your reply

Seems like i was mistaken (insert face palm here). The model i have is the "DX", not the "6".

Sorry for the thread hijack
