For one of our clients we are trying to repair a Raw Thrills Superbikes 2 arcade machines.
Running on DELL Optiplex 3020 PC's
They have 2 cabinets that are connected together for multiplayer
Cabinet 1 works without issues as is. Also as stand alone
The problem started with Cabinet 2.
This units gives a "No signal" on the display on power up when it's in the cabinet
When we swap the Dell PC's between the two. To problem moves from cabinet 1 to cabinet 2.
We did a recovery outside of the cabinet connected to a different monitor. Now we have picture, and we can succesfully re-install the game.
The game boots to the "Please wait" screen and passes all the checks untill the USB Key is required.
After placing the PC back in the cabinet we are again greeted by the"No Signal" notification in the screen. No Bios splashscreen, nothing
If we connect the display that worked on installation with a replacement DVI cable the "No signal" issue persists.
We have swapped out all the hardware between the two PC's.
- Videocard (EVGA GeForce GT730)
- HDD
- PCI COM-port
- Power Supply
- Memory
The issues persists with PC 2.
We even bought a replacement Motherboard (VJ4YK), same issue.
We are at a loss, the only possible issue we can think of at the moment is that there is a BIOS setting what is causing the issue.
The manual refers to an Appendix B part of the manual for BIOS settings, but this is nowhere the be found. Not in the manual, nor online.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
