Hi! :)

I just dumped IC12 & IC13 from a Romboard without Keycus which normally and from a Tekken 3 to Soul Calibur (SOC14/VER.C) but I have the impression that it happened in the opposite direction to Tekken 3 towards Soul Calibur (SOC14/VER.C) and returned Tekken 3 :whistling:

If anyone can confirm what I dumped.

On the other hand, if it is not Tekken 3 in IC12, IC13 please tell me what is the name of the Rom file Soul Calibur IC12 IC13 (SOC14/VER.C) because I do not know the exact name given in the rom file

THANK YOU

Can you show a picture of the rom board?

In the Mame documentation there's mention of a Type 8 rom board that was used to convert Tekken to Soul Calibur:

Hi! :) nem

Thank you again

don't forget that I removed the 2 mflash roms in IC12 & IC13 :D

based on the Mask ROM labels this is Tekken 3. But if you're looking for the Program ROMs that would function without security those would NOT be mounted on this board, those would be the two flash-roms on the Main board. That's what really needs to be dumped.

So it's a Type 4 rom board:

Why do you assume it's not Tekken?

The flash roms have TET1 written on them.
Hi! :)

Because under the motherboard there is a SOC1 Ver.A sticker?(

But I think that the different parts were mixed motherboard and romboard, the people who had this equipment, perhaps believed that we could repair by exchanging the PCBs like simple mechanical parts :whistling:

Too bad the Keycus cannot be programmed because of the protection, I tested the ROM card on my complete original Tekken 3 and there is a big problem.

Big graphical bugs and characters teleport from the ground to the sky and the CPU raises its head to the sky, when my character is in the sky X/:D

Exactly, someone has just mismatched different boards together. It's pretty common if you're buying "untested" or not working System 12 boards.
