Hi! :)

I have a problem with a Mr Driller G Namco System 10 On startup black screen but with a switching noise as if it was trying to display.

All the LEDs on the PCB are red, the whole game has undergone a new capkit, the PCB is clean, no cut tracks, no corrosion.
I checked all the CPU pins and other chips, everything is solidly soldered.

so maybe the following problems

1 soldering of the chips too old even if it holds, maybe a reflow is necessary

2 Corrupted flashrom?

3 problem power supply of the CPU pin.

Thanks for your help

Hi !:)

here is the news, I am still at the same stage, despite the welding on the connectors of the different PCBs.

Still black screen with a clicking noise in the monitor screen.

however the indicator LEDs are lit red on the PCB X/

I was wondering if this could come from this?

Rom Board PST575D - Mitsumi PST575D System Reset IC. Available in voltage detection C through L with voltages 4.5V-2.3V ?

OR

Motherboard PST592J System Reset IC with 2.7V detection circuit (MMP-4A) ?

Thank you for help me

Mother boards on System 10 games are all interchangeable. So I'd recommend swapping the ROM board with another known working System 10 game that will let you know if the problem is the mobo or the ROM board.

If you want I can sell you a known working system10 motherboard for 20eur + shipping.
Or throw in another 20eur (so 40eur+shipping total) and I will include a rom-board of a great game (gekitoride jong space) too!

As mentioned, you can swap romboards between system10 motherboards freely.

Hi! :)

I just did some tests with the game Gekitoride Jong Space (great game by the way) that buffi sold me thanks to him

So the problem would then come from Mr Driller G's Romboard.

I dumped the 3 Flash NAND of the game.

I can't verify the integrity of the data X/

If someone could do me this service thank you to him. :saint:

I have some questions, what would be the cross reference of the 64Mbit K9F2808U0B-YCBO NAND flash memory today?

Samsung Electronics K9F2808U0B-YCBO 64Mbit NAND flash memory

https://www1.futureelectronics.com/doc/SAMSUNG/K9F1G08U0C-PCB000.pdf

I wonder if it could come from a LCX245 Transceiver?

I wanted to know if there is a special configuration to program the FLASH NAND ?

I have an XGECU-T56 to program.

Thanks for your help :thumbup::thumbup:
