Hello everyone,
I've got a sega naomi with mvc2 in it, however no monitor to go with it. So I decided to go with an LCD for now, the picture works fine with I use VGA to an old 20 inch computer monitor I have but when I use a VGA connection to my 40 inch tv there is no signal. I've tried both dip switch settings for 15 & 31 kHz, and I also used a CGA to VGA converter and just used the VGA in and VGA out ports to force a smaller 800x600 resolution and get a green screen that goes in and out of signal.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you all.

A working Naomi setup is a sweet thing, nice!

VGA was always an annoying thing on TVs, manufacturers seemed to hate it for some reason, they did weird implementations that were missing features or only supported specific resolutions or whatever.

What’s the model number of your TV? Could be some useful info on why it doesn’t work if we can find a manual
