Was gifted this CPS3 cart years back from an ex Arcade vendor. Unfortunately it did not have a label on the cart, but it dose still reads off 3.6V on its battery. Decided to try it out on my CPS3 multi just to see what would happen and I got this message in Japanese on the screen. Also here are some pics of the cart bare. Hoping to figure out what game this is. Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

All of the rev “D” carts that I’ve seen (which is only 2) have come off Japanese nocd SF3 boards. That’s not much to go on sorry…

all good, pleased everything has arrived, NZ post are hitting it out of the park fir delivery at the moment.

SF3:3s with NOCD bios is quite valuable now with all the interest from evo. Definitely worth doing some more digging on this one.

You might consider getting it to boot with one of the bluescsis by replacing the darksoft ISO on the SD card with various un-modified CD iso dumps of various games. just download the .iso change the filename to the correct format and see if it can boot.

If it is a SF3:3S nocd bios it’s rare enough now to be worth saving, the procedure to change the battery is sadly not simple.
