Hey everyone!

I go by Manny, born in the late 80s so I was only fortunate enough to experience the arcades in the late 90s, early 00s.
Growing up, I enjoyed a lot of Strikers 1945 II & III, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, DDR, Pump it Up, Beatmania, Sega Rally, Hydro Thunder, Star Wars Episode I & Attack From Mars pinball, Metal Slug, Mortal Kombat, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Power Stone 1 & 2, Crazy Taxi, Star Wars Arcade Trilogy, Star Wars Racer, Time Crisis, House of the Dead, Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Virtual On, TMNT, X-men, Simpsons, and I'm sure I'm forgetting many others...

Although my collection is small, I am happy with it, and hope to grow is a bit further by including all the MK games in 1 cab with a switcher, a virtual pinball machine, and some Sinden light guns on my Vewlix.

Aside from Arcade stuff, I also enjoy collecting & playing old PC games, and retro consoles starting with the NES and newer (especially Pokémon stuff). Also like going off-road (with Jeeps), play Magic the Gathering, and build Lego. In the past I also used to cosplay a lot, mainly Star Wars stuff.

Would love to meet more like minded individuals, especially in the North Las Vegas area. I've already discovered @H2HCabs is a coworker lol.

Hadn't seen your big box PC or Pkmn collection. When people suggest to stack Gold and Silver I just figure they mean CIB at these prices :D

Great post and glad we struck up a convo about it so we can waste time playing Scam Star Citizen.

Welcome! Awesome collection. Can you tell us more about that marquee you made for your Vewlix?

Hello, thanks!

I upgraded the default Vewlix screen to a LG Ultragear 1440p 160Hz then added an extra LG 29” ultrawide 1080p monitor using a clamp style monitor mount and use BigBox (LaunchBox) on PC which supports a secondary screen to display marquees. Whatever game I select will switch the marquee to match.

Since the mount is clamped on, there are zero holes drilled, it holds pretty well without any damage.

Are you running arcade hardware or home consoles?

I’m sorry I’m not sure I understand the question. The Vewlix uses a PC for convenience. The other arcades such as the Neo Geos and the Mortal Kombat uses real arcade boards. I hope that answers your question?

Just curious if you are using actual arcade hardware like the Taito Type X2 or running a console like the Switch or PS5.
