Golden tee 98 trackball problem

Hello all, this is my 1st post. I just purchased a golden Tee 98 and have a problem. When using the trackball up works, down works, and right works. But when I move left it reads it as right. I bought a new trackball and it does the same thing. Does this mean I need a new board?

Does sound like a board issue, but double check your wiring first.
