I installed mine yesterday but all I get is this on the menu when I have a card inserted. It's a 16GB Kingston card that has been formatted to FAT32. Has anyone else come across this issue? The screen is in Black & White as it's connected to a PAL monitor. I can play original discs ok when I go to CD menu.

Doesn’t help that the install menu is so shit with its little icon sized pixel art images vs. photos.
SD loading works and I love playing Samurai Shodown RPG in English. But my genuine games don’t play whatsoever. @Joko3 even gave me a spare working drive which didn’t fix the issue. I have a replacement ribbon cable yet to try. Maybe that will fix things.

Looks like you haven’t got the right files on your SD. I suggest checking the format of your backups to make sure they’re supported.
From memory, it’s very picky about the games.

The drag and drop folder I had before is gone, but I did find the game files that I got from archive.org in late 2021. I don't seem to remember doing anything special to get them to work; the whole process is fuzzy now three years later. I do remember the hardware install pretty clearly oddly enough.
Just in case, did you not unzip the files perhaps and just have them sitting on your SD card? Can you post up a screen shot of what your files look like? Maybe someone who has done the install more recently might spot what your issue is.
