Hi! :)

I have a sound problem, when I make inputs with the buttons, I have a machine gun noise :Scoming out in addition to the sound effects of the shots.

The computer also when it releases shots, the sound of machine guns is heard.
I have already changed one of the Dual Op-Amp 4558 near the mono stereo switch, the AK4310VM DAC WITH ATT & MIXER, Sony CXD2925Q

but still the problem, I tried with the Star Gladiator 2 Rom Board, it's the same problem. X/

Thanks for your help

Maybe a fault inside the CPS2-B input and sound cpu controller chip?
Does this happen when you use the kick loom buttons or just the normal buttons?

Hi! :)

but where is this chip on the motherboard ?(?

So the problem is present with or without kick harness X/

ok i found Sony CXD8661R is custom overclock chip request by capcom

I have a spare ZN 1 motherboard, I don't know if it's the same reference, I'll look ?(

the cps2-b is about the kick buttons only so not this fault.

it may be the mcu - this one , i think its the same for zn1 and zn2 but never tested mixing them...

also maybe the regular input buffers faulty

Hi! :)

you also say perhaps that the regular input buffers are defective, compared to when I press the buttons, but the computer when it does its techniques does it too, it's curious.:S

I looked at a ZN1 motherboard that I had as a spare, it's the same MCU, but no luck, it was corroded and a leg was missing X/.

Is there an equivalent today or is it a custom chip for Sony ??(
