Hi Folks, I always wanted enclosures for my PCBs. There are some excellent choices there while some are not open source and most dnt exist at all. I do not have any experience in 3D design so I am think of getting someone to design the cases for following boards/systems: List is based on what I have in hand.
For these enclosures I am thinking overall to be like Capcom 1.5 (dash) cases (without the top label hump). I will have the fan mounting option on either left or right side of the case so that these could be stacked if need to be. For front (JAMMA edge) reference would be Capcom CPS2 A Boards (but altered accordingly to the board off-course).
If designs (open source) for any of these PCBs are available, please let me know. If someone is willing to the designs, let us know as well. The idea is to have a nice enclosure that is 3D printing friendly and can be printed with ESD safe filaments. Not looking for those acrylic top and bottom type covers here. I wanted to do these enclosures some years ago but couldnt find the person to do it but now I know someone who can do these designs (not sure about cost at this point).
